If you haven’t kept up on your rumors, Verizon Wireless is set to launch the recently announced BlackBerry Curve 9330 relatively soon. Big Red is taking two different color options into inventory, Fuschia and Charcoal Grey, and we have photos of both of them. It might just be the lighting, but that Fuschia looks awfully fierce to our eyes. With that said, anyone up for some low cost BlackBerry 9330 action on “the nation’s largest and most reliable network” when it launches on September 16th? Couple more photos after the break!
Thanks, TheGeek!

HP has filed a civil complaint against , alleging that the former chief can not fully perform his newly assigned duties with employer without divulging HP’s trade secrets. Hurd received a severance package from HP which is estimated to be worth roughly $26 million. An excerpt from HP’s civil complaint reads as follows:
Despite being paid millions of dollars in cash, stock and stock options in exchange for Hurd’s agreements to protect HP’s trade secrets and confidential information during his employment and following his departure from his positions at HP as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President, HP is informed and believes and thereon alleges that Hurd has put HP’s most valuable trade secrets and confidential information in peril. Hurd accepted positions with Oracle Corporation (“Oracle”), a competitor of HP, yesterday as its President and as a member of its Board of Directors. In his new positions, Hurd will be in a situation in which he cannot perform his duties for Oracle without necessarily using and disclosing HP’s trade secrets and confidential information to others.
HP released a statement saying: ““Mark Hurd agreed to and signed agreements designed to protect HP’s trade secrets and confidential information. HP intends to enforce those agreements.”

Two weeks ago, we told you about Wirefly selling the ever-so-elusive HTC EVO 4G handset . Well, the company has just sent us a quick email to inform us that they will be doing the same thing again tomorrow. Just like last time, the rules are:
Anyone out there still trying to get their hands on an EVO 4G without success?

The gang over at ifixit have taken Apple’s newest iPod Shuffle and given it a proper tear down. The third-generation Shuffle doesn’t contain any mysterious secrets – we’re not sure there is room for them — but the site does list a 51 mAh battery, logic board, click-wheel, and casing. It is pretty remarkable that a 51 mAh battery can last for 15 hours; most smartphone batteries — powering a screen — start at 1,000 mAhs. The site does say that in order to get inside the device you basically have to break it; making self-repair an interesting proposition. Hit the jump to see the tear-down in its full glory.
